CERAM open day

CERAM open day
The day will include displays and talks from its materials experts on bioceramics and new drug delivery technologies; and characterisation, which looks at state-of-the-art technologies to determine chemical and physical properties.

The Open Day, which will be held at the CERAM headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and will
include a buffet lunch, will run from 9.30am – 4pm. It will be an informal but
informative and interactive and, most importantly, interesting day.
The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Kerry Kirwan from the University of Warwick. A leading figure in the area of sustainable materials, Dr. Kirwan will talk about the racing car, the ‘Worldfirst’, that he and his team have built out of recyclables and that runs on chocolate and stale wine
