Invibio has a new boss

Victrex has appointed a new managing director of its Invibio Biomaterial Solutions business.



The company said Hichem M'Saad would join it on 18 June 2012 and succeed Michael Callahan in the role. Mr Callahan is to 
remain on the Invibio board as leader of its spine business. 

Prior to joining Invibio Dr M'Saads career includes 14 years at Applied Materials Inc, most recently as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of its Silicon Sector Group.
 He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Full story at thebusinessdesk.com

Revenue for Invibio Biomaterial Solutions business for the half year to 31 March 2012 amounted to approximaltey £25.5 million, 5% higher than last year's £24.3 million, despite the continuing uncertainties in the US healthcare market. Looking ahead, the group said its current order book for April and new business activity continue to be encouraging. (Source:RTT News)
