Warwick goes Stateside

Warwick University is to join an elite group of academic bodies helping to deliver a new science centre in New York, USA. The University is the only European body involved in the venture, which will eventually lead to the creation of the New York Centre for Urban Science and Progress. The Centre will be a partnership of top institutions from around the globe, led by NYU and NYU-Poly with the University of Warwick, Carnegie Mellon University, the City University of New York, the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay, and the University of Toronto plus a number of industry partners. Research priorities include manufacturing and healthcare.
